Expose exists to speak out and start a freedom revolution for countries that can’t. It is a non-profit platform used to gather donations for organizations fighting for equal rights in foreign countries that are being consistently shut down by their government.
The life of the Cease the Censor campaign comes from historical American figures that set forth the pillars of freedom that allow Expose to breathe.
Expose was created out of a need to show American citizens what it means when governments have the power to censor history.
Historical quotes about freedom were struck through to reveal a completely different message than what was originally intended.
The figures connected to the quotes are depicted under their words with the flag of another nation holding back their speech. The countries used in the campaign are extremely low on the Human Freedom Index and have diligent censorship activist groups.
On each of the figures' heads, a hat can be seen from typical propaganda of the country being supported. This depiction was chosen because censorship can be seen as a modern equivalent to invisible governmental influence.
